On November 6, a sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport was held moderated by Tigran Urikhanyan.

The RA draft law on Amending the RA Law on Education was debated in the first reading, by which the author, the RA NA deputy Tigran Urikhanyan proposed to establish as a compulsory demand the possibility of quarterly and monthly payment of the education fee in the higher educational institutions. The MPs passed the abovementioned recommendation.

In his speech the Member of the Committee Hrachya Hakobyan highlighted the adoption of the draft law, which to his assessment, would be an additional impetus for encouraging the education in higher educational institutions.

The bill included in the agenda of the fourth session of the NA sixth convocation was endorsed by the Committee.
